I'm very curious about Kresley Cole's novel, because I didn't like her IAD series very much (as in.. Not at all) and Gregory's book seems to be fantastic, so I should probably read one of her Adult novels.

Thank you for this post! <3Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00198314178150554485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577671326216532557.post-69541805384110246662012-04-18T12:01:08.667-04:002012-04-18T12:01:08.667-04:00Thanks for this round up! Funnily enough, I usually prefer the YA ones, but maybe because I read so much YA anyway, hah. Thanks for the heads up on some of these titles!

Wendy @ The Midnight GardenWendy Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13471461156849725177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577671326216532557.post-41675318311054475882012-04-18T02:07:15.340-04:002012-04-18T02:07:15.340-04:00Great list. It seems like adult authors are picking up on the goldmine that is YA.

I've also noticed that authors who usually write for adults (or who started that way) tend to write differently. Like, the characters are different. I'm thinking specifically of Jennifer Estep and Lisa T. Bergren - their heroes are NOT what you normally find in YA. They seem more "manly," like more mature than the teeny bopper boys that are common in YA. Very interesting.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06851403823244758904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577671326216532557.post-61355921431524355372012-04-17T17:34:04.843-04:002012-04-17T17:34:04.843-04:00This is definitely an exciting time to be in the Y...This is definitely an exciting time to be in the YA market, for sure. I remember it used to be that authors had to have different pseudonyms to write different types of books (which is why Anne Rice wrote under Anne Rampling & A.N. Roquelaure). So great that they can be themselves, use their own clout to write something new! Cool post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
